Pokemon Sword and Shield - Gameplay Walkthrough Part 1 - Galar Region Intro! (Nintendo Switch)

In this gameplay walkthrough of Pokemon Sword and Shield, we are introduced to the new Galar region. We are taken through the familiar process of character creation, where we can customize our avatar's physical features, clothing and even their walking style. After the character creation process, we are taken to a brief tutorial which explains the new Dynamaxing and Gigantamaxing mechanics. The tutorial concludes with a battle against a wild Pokemon. After the battle, we are taken to the first town of Galar, where we can explore the various shops and facilities available. We also get to see the new Wild Area, an open-world area where we can find and catch wild Pokemon. This part of the game concludes with a battle against a Team Yell Grunt. Overall, this part of the game showcased some of the exciting new features of Pokemon Sword and Shield and the gorgeous new Galar region.
