Level 14: Merlin's Hills
After bigmouth Puss-In-Boots tells Arthur all of the cons of being king, Arthur no longer wants to return to Far Far Away. Shrek rejects this, saying that Arthur is going to go whether he likes it or not. After Arthur and Shrek struggle with the steering wheel of the boat, the wheel falls off, and the boat crashes into an unknown shore in a forest. Now, Shrek has to find his friends and rely on the help of an absent-minded wizard named Merlin to get them home.
In this level, you have to navigate Shrek through the forest to get to his friends and Merlin. You also have to find magical horseshoes for Merlin to use in a teleport spell that can send Shrek and his friends home. There is an unfortunate surprise for players at the end of the level....
-The coloring book page in this level is located in the pit near the end of the level. It is somewhere on the left side halfway down, so you'll have to float down to get it.
List of how to complete Quests in the level:
Quest #1 - Complete the level without dying.
Quest #2 - Find all of the souvenir mugs.
Quest #3 - Complete 5 finishing moves.
Quest #4 - Grab all of the pirates' peg-legs.*
Quest #5 - Destroy the giant beaver statue.**
*These collectibles work like other sets of quest collectibles. They are found in boxes, crates, and cannons.
**The giant beaver statue can be found after going through the falling trees. Repeatedly attack it to completely destroy it.
--That monster at the end of the level is a real pain in the butt. His attacks are very powerful, so defend against or evade them, and then, attack. That spin attack of his can take out your player in one use, if you aren't careful. Either block it or run away. Then, attack the monster. Using ogre power if you have it helps a lot, too.
I never knew how dumb and forgetful Merlin can be when it comes to spells and remembering things. -.-'
